Before and After : Time and Memory
Drawing inspiration directly from the iconic architectural elements of the 19th-century post office, our design serves as a bridge connecting contemporary aesthetics with historical authenticity. This architectural intervention symbolizes deep respect and thoughtful dialogue with the past, recognizing that the essence of heritage can sometimes fade during transitions.
In our design, instead of losing historical significance through modernization, we thoughtfully reinterpret and restore these timeless features, reviving them to their former prominence. The interiors have been carefully reimagined, blending modern comfort and functionality with historically resonant details. An accessible ramp has also been seamlessly integrated within the interior, enhancing inclusivity while respecting the building’s original character.
Through this sensitive approach, our architecture becomes a living memory, honoring the past while gracefully embracing the present.
