Avila Hall

A Vision for Renewal
Avila Hall, originally built in 1933 for the Franciscan Sisters, stood as a testament to both history and spiritual devotion. The project aimed to thoughtfully repurpose the existing convent into a contemporary retreat space for visitors, preserving its rich heritage while adapting it for modern use. Plans explored the addition of new rooms, enhancing its function as a place of reflection and rest. However, despite efforts to breathe new life into the building, Avila Hall is now set for demolition, marking the end of an era for this cherished space. Its legacy, deeply rooted in faith and community, will live on through the memories and stories it has shaped over the decades.
