Fixed Fee – Mutually Agreed Upon Fees Between Client and Architect.

This is most advantageous to the client when there is no clear design direction and more time is required during the schematic design and design development stages of the project.

% Fee – Based on Construction Value, consistent with OAA Client Architect Agreement and RAIC Guidelines.  

This is most advantageous to the client when there is an established budget without an clear design direction. 

Hourly Rate – Fixed Hourly Rate for architectural Services 

 This is most advantageous when the client has a clear vision for design and construction and little time will be required during the design development stage of the project and we can move into construction documents. 

Disbursements:  The Client shall pay the Architect’s Fees and reimbursable expenses as set out below, plus value added tax (HST.). Invoices are payable immediately upon invoicing. Unpaid invoices shall bear interest per annum, calculated monthly at prime plus 2% from 30 to 60 days; prime plus 4% thereafter. 

Reimbursable Expenses Cost + 20%  

Mileage $ .60 per KM 

Additional Architectural Services $ 180.00 per Hour 

Additional Engineering Services $ 250.00 per Hour
