Thoughtful Expansion Amidst Nature

In West Lincoln, we envisioned a substantial yet thoughtful addition to a modest existing home, designed specifically for a large family. Utilizing Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction for exceptional insulation and energy efficiency, the design included a walk-out basement strategically placed to maximize breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Careful consideration was given to integrating the new structure seamlessly with the existing terrain, creating harmony between architecture and the natural environment.

Every detail was meticulously planned, from spatial organization to the selection of sustainable materials, ensuring comfort, durability, and functionality. Although ultimately unbuilt, the design remains a testament to thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and sensitivity to family dynamics and environmental context.
